Control of violations is easy and effective. Each City Police Officer is equipped with a portable electronic device (PDA) that scans the vehicle’s license plate and confirms automatically and in real time the legality or not of parking, as it is directly linked to the parking payments database. In case of a violation, the parking ticket is acknowledged through the automated system and the ticket is issued by a portable printer. The entire process takes a few seconds. PDAs of the Municipal Police have built-in special software that helps avoid errors and issue of unjustified tickets.
